RECOVERY SERVICES

RECOVERY COACHING

Recovery Coaching accelerates the client’s progress in recovery by providing greater focus and awareness of choices, actions, accountability, and responsibility through structured personalized recovery programs. You will be lead through three phases of early recovery including a focus on practical tasks, identification of roadblocks to your well-being, and personal goal-setting creating an action plan to reach those goals.  The ideal length of the program is 6 months but several other options are available.

How does a Recovery Coach Work?

  • Client assessment is made by the coach to see how intense coaching needs to be.

  • Spot Recovery: one-time contact with an experienced coach

  • Moderate support coaching

  • Transitional aftercare from a treatment facility

  • Intensive aftercare coaching

  • Coaching can be as little as Zoom, Phone or coaching from your home (ask for more information)

  • Daily coaching in the beginning then tapered down based on progress

  • Coaches work hourly, by the day, by the event

Treatment professionals encourage clients to work with recovery coaches for ongoing aftercare at home as part of an outpatient treatment program and relapse prevention to give you the best chance for lasting recovery.

SOBER EVENT COMPANION

A Sober Event Companion or transport companion accompanies a client to any event, meeting, business trips, vacation, or court appearances. A newly abstinent person can be challenging for anyone that has received treatment in or out of state now released to fly or drive back home alone. The certified sober recovery companion or recovery coach will infiltrate himself/herself into your everyday life alongside you to help coach you minute by minute, hour by hour, and day by day issues and problems that may become triggers that cause you to relapse.

Having a sober recovery coach companion allows the client the freedom to continue working, continue providing for their family both financially and emotionally, and moving on with everyday life without losing everything in an attempt to stay clean and sober alone. Most recovering addicts would tell you the hardest part of recovery isn't staying at a heavily guarded treatment facility but rather being at home with little or no support/guidance to preventing relapse.

Together we will create an aftercare recovery program to suit your needs and level of coaching needed.

PHONE OR VIRTUAL RECOVERY COACHING

Prescriptions Anonymous offers virtual recovery coaching via phone or Zoom as a way to continue your aftercare treatment program in the comfort of your home. Online virtual coaching can help anyone apply methods of recovery by developing action and goal setting plans whether the client has just completed a stay at a treatment center or relapsed many months after treatment. Clients find the convenience of virtual recovery coaching at home a great way to stay connected, and supported.
